| How long
does it take to complete certification? |
BACK TO TOP |
| The amount of time it takes to complete certification
can vary from 5 minutes to over an hour. It is dependent upon the
type of company, size of the company, type of goods that the company
manufactures, and the level of company understanding by the
individual completing certification. Following are some examples of
times to complete certification:
A professional services firm, public utility, or GE entity -
5-10 minutes
A small company - 20-30 minutes
A large company - 30-45 minutes
If the responder needs to consult with others in his/her
company, additional time may be required

|
| Why does GE
want to know the locations of my company's plants? |
BACK TO TOP |
| GE requests such information from certain suppliers
because our policy may require that a GE employee visit the plant
and perform an audit/review of the plant (also known as On Site Due
Diligence, or ODD). Not all companies, nor all plants for a company,
are necessarily required to be reviewed. Should one of your plants
owned by your company require a review, you will be contacted by a
GE representative.

certification, you will have to recertify. In order to help you to
complete the certification process again, you can print your current
